If you haven’t hopped aboard the over night oats train, I highly recommend you do. It’s such an easy breakfast to make and SO bomb. They’re just as good cold as they are heated up and officially our new favorite road trip breakfast (bye bye Mc. Griddle. Don’t judge us… we have #noregrets). I have done four different types so far and you really can’t go wrong. I posted the ones I have tried below but if your interested in others hurrythefoodup.com is my go-to.

Enjoy,

Mandi

Peanut Butter & Jelly

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup oats

1 cup almond milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

sprinkle of cinnamon

3 tablespoons peanut butter

2 tablespoons jelly

TO DO:

Add the oats, pour the milk, throw the other ingredients on top, and throw it in the fridge! It’s literally that easy. Pull out the next morning and enjoy cold or heat it up.

Peanut Butter & Banana

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup oats

1 cup almond milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

sprinkle of cinnamon

3 tablespoons peanut butter

1/2 banana

TO DO:

Add the oats, pour the milk, throw the other ingredients on top, and toss it in the fridge! It’s literally that easy. Pull out the next morning, add sliced banana, and enjoy cold or heat it up.

Grape & Pecan

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup oats

1 cup almond milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

sprinkle of cinnamon

4 tablespoons vanilla greek yogurt

chopped pecans

handful of grapes

drizzle of honey or agave

TO DO:

Add the oats, pour the milk, throw the other ingredients on top, and toss it in the fridge! It’s literally that easy. Pull out the next morning, I recommend eating this one cold. I did the pecans and grapes the night before as well but I’m sure it could go either way.

Apple Pie

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup oats

1 cup almond milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons brown sugar

sprinkle of cinnamon

dash of nutmeg

3 tablespoons apple sauce

handful of apple chunks (I peal and cut mine into bite size pieces for convenience)

hemp heart toppers (or crushed graham cracker if your feeling frisky)

TO DO:

Add the oats, pour the milk, throw the other ingredients on top, and toss it in the fridge! It’s literally that easy. Pull out the next morning and enjoy cold or heat it up. This one i prefer heated!
